Bookings can be made online here, through e-mail at info@rosedaleabbeycaravanpark.co.uk, via telephone between the hours of 9am – 5pm on 01751 417272 or in person.
Yes, deposits are required to confirm all bookings. For touring bookings and tent bookings the deposit is the equivalent of 1 nights stay. For pods we require a £40 deposit. Cottages are a £100 deposit. For all bookings, full payment is due before arrival. 6 weeks for Cottages and Pods, 4 weeks for Tents and Tourers.
For matters requiring immediate attention the park's telephone number is 01751 417272. The park's email address info@rosedaleabbeycaravanpark.co.uk can also be used for non-urgent matters.
For caravan and camping customers, the standard arrival time is after 1pm and departure time before 12 noon. In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we do offer late departures subject to availability and an additional charge. If you would like a late departure please let us know as soon as possible as this gives us a greater chance of accommodating your needs.
For pod customers, arrival time is after 1pm and departure time before 10am. Late departures are available subject to availability and at an additional charge.
For Holiday Cottages, the arrival time is after 4pm and departure time before 10am.
The Holiday cottages are open all year round. The park is open for tourers mid March to 31st October. The park is open for tents mid March until 30th September.
We can accommodate late arrivals. If you are likely to arrive after the office has closed (after 6pm), please let us know so that we can make provisions to accommodate a late check-in.
The nearest supermarkets and ATM’s are in Pickering or Kirkbymoorside approx. 20minutes drive away.
We have a well-stocked on-site shop selling essentials such as bread, milk, bacon, eggs, we have freshly baked pastries and breads available for pre-order. We also have a wide range of toys and outdoor games and an excellent array of camping equipment.
Strictly one car is allowed on the park per pitch/pod. There is an on-site car park available for customers coming with more than one car. They must be checked in and a small fee of £5/night is due upon arrival at reception. Parking is limited so we do encourage customers to bring one car only.
We are happy to accept cash payments, card payments, BACS and cheque.
Yes, we have a great Wi-Fi Service provided by Signa which is available for a small daily charge. Please ask at Reception for details. Connection is direct from your pitch and this service is administered and operated entirely by Signa.
We are a Calor gas stockist, please visit reception for more details regarding availability and pricing. We stock a variety of Calor gas bottles.
Commercial vehicles must remain in the car park at reception at all times.
Yes and we have a disabled/family room equipped with a sink, toilet, shower with grab rails. There is a £10 refundable deposit required for the key which is available from Reception.
We do not hire out static caravans, as they are all privately owned. However we do have 5 self-catering cottages which are available to view and book online.
BBQ’s are allowed but must be raised from the ground and discarded in the designated metal bins before departure. Bricks are located in all bin bays.
Due to the popularity of gazebos, event shelters and pup tents, we will allow them only by prior arrangement and for a small charge.
Unfortunately due to there being lots of tents around, and the fact we are located in the middle of the North York Moors which is usually under an Extreme Fire Risk Warning over the Summer months, means we DO NOT ALLOW FIRE PITS. You are welcome to burn special Fire logs which to not emit sparks, on your BBQ’s.
Yes dogs are welcome for a small charge. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch. We also have a designated dog walking area on site.
We do not allow supermarket deliveries on site. We would like to encourage guests to support the local shops in the village and surrounding area.
We are very lucky to have two pubs serving food within easy walking distance of the park. The Coach House Inn 01751 417208. White Horse Farm Inn 01751 417239. We also have Abbey Stores and Graze on the Green Tearooms in the village.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Our pods do not have beds in them. You will need to bring all your usual camping equipment with you. We provide a heater, light and a double electric socket. Please note, although some of our pods have a USB charging point, not all of them do.
You must only use special camping low wattage electrical equipment in the pods.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL THE POD SLEEP?
Pods sleep a family of 5 – 2 adults 3 children.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
The cottage is fully furnished, including bedding and towels.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
Yes, pets are welcome, there will be an additional charge, and restricted to 2 pets.
